American Crow Corvus brachyrhynchos
Habitat: Most common in riparian, agricultural and urban areas, but also occurs in coniferous forests (especially ponderosa pine and lodgepole pine), shrublands, and cholla grasslands.
Range in Colorado: It is more common in the foothills, lower mountains, and plains near foothills, and is rare in summer on most of the eastern plains (Andrews and Carter 1992, B. Howe, personal communication).
