Habitat: It has been recorded in mudflats around reservoirs and in agricultural areas.

Range in Colorado: Uncommon spring and fall migrant in the San Luis Valley. Rare migrant in western valleys; most records in Mesa, Delta, and Gunnison counties. Casual migrant on eastern plains. Accidental in mountain parks in migratin and in summer.

Status: Federally Endangered, State Endangered
