Yellow-breasted Chat Icteria virens
Habitat: They inhabit lowland and foothill riparian and hillside shrublands. This species is most often found in Gambel oak, skunkbrush, and clematis.
Range in Colorado: Uncommon to fairly common summer resident in foothills and mesas from Moffat County southward. It is rare east to Eagle and Gunnison counties and from Larimer County southward. Local on eastern plains, mostly in the South Platte River Valley from eastern Weld County to Sedgwick County and in eastern Yuma County. Accidental in mountain parks (one record). Uncommon spring and fall migrant in western valleys and on eastern plains.
