Habitat: Occurs in Gambel oak and other shrublands lacking conifers (Hoag and Braun 1990). Croplands and riparian areas are also used, especially in fall and winter. Leks are located in wet meadows, ridges and knolls, or recently burned areas (Braun et al. 1992).
Range in Colorado: Rare to uncommon resident in Douglas County.
Status: CDOW WRIS Species, State Endangered
