In order to assure consistency and maintain the quality of our data , we invite Herpetofaunal Observers to download and use the Herpetofaunal Field Survey Form provided. The form closely resembles the on-line input form for ease of data collection and data entry to the Colorado Herpetofaunal Atlas Database.
Each text form has room for up to five species identified at an observation location. If there are more than five species at a location, use another set of field forms. The text form includes instructions and a glossary. To download the field form use the clipboard icon below. The form is in pdf format. If your computer can't read pdfs, you'll have to download a pdf viewer.
If observers would like to take a map into the field to mark observations, the on-line distribution map of Colorado can be used to create and print out a map. Use the turtle below to go to the distribution map. Use the zoom tool to zoom into a location then use the printer tool to name and print the map.
